WORLD BOOK DAY & a short story

Posted on 1st March, by Sarah in General, Hunting Lila, Losing Lila, News. 4 Comments.

It’s World Book Day next week (the 7th March to be precise) and I’m thrilled to be involved. It’s a UK thing and lots of authors are taking part this year, including the incredible Patrick Ness, Will Hill and Sarah J. Maas.

As well as lots of competitions and tips and books for a pound, there’s also an iTunes app which contains 10 YA short stories by awesome authors and ME! And it’s FREE!

That’s right, I’ve written a story all about Ryder and Amber and how they met.

Grab your copy of Turning Amber and find out just how she met Ryder, why she fell for him, what the hell Demos was doing in a thrift store in Ventura and why it’s not a good idea to steal from a gang of Hell’s Angels.

    Dear Sarah,

I have a slight problem with the short story. I have downloaded it on iTunes and but i have an iPod nano. This is a problem because to have the app open, you need either an iPhone or an iPod touch and I can’t open it on my computer. Is there any way i can access your short story.

    From issy.

    Hi Issy,
Oh no. For the moment it’s an exclusive for WBD but it will be part of an ebook compilation that’s being released on October 1st. You’ll need to get the Kindle app for that for your desktop or a Kindle to be able to read it though.

I’ve been wanting to read this series but I can’t seem to find Turning Amber, or The Moment on the World Book Day App. Can you help me or do I have to wait?

Both short stories will be released as part of an ebook compilation in October. The Moment is in the back of Losing Lila.
